Sheraton Hotels and Resorts has for the first time ever announced a family program – Side by Side Family. Intended to bring multi-generational families together to create shared experiences and memories of togetherness, the program is now launching at Sheraton Maldives Full Moon Resort and Spa.

Side by Side Family will allow guests to explore authentic experiences at the resort and in the community as well. It celebrates moments big and small, whether it is kids’ playtime, grandparents and parents learning new experience with the kids or spouse on special occasions.

Rebuild a coral reef together

Sheraton is close to nature and in its Maldives sanctuary, much love os given to the corals in the house reef. A major portion of these corals are regenerated from coral fragments planted onto a frame and placed along the artificial extension of the reef. Families can also get to learn about the Adopt a Coral initiative and call a piece of the reef their own! Each frame sponsored by the family will be tagged and updated on the progress biannually by the resort's marine biologists’ team.

Secluded island picnic time!

With a picnic basket in hand and your sun hats on, head on to the tiny secluded island of Furanafushi. This will be an exclusive tropical island picnic day for everyone that can be enjoyed in a room space, or as we recommend, hopping around through the chain of lagoon islets. Your meals will be professionally taken care of Executive Chef Riccardo Pinna who has taken it upon himself to ensure that your picnic is complemented with scrumptious delights that will just keep coming.
