The state has opened up a total of 52 parking slots from Henveiru Carnival venue for four-wheelers on a monthly charge of MVR 3,000, according to authorities. Each vehicle owner or proxy will receive a total of one slot from the paid-parking zone.
Male’ City Council, the authority in charge with the parking regulation for the paid-parking zone, claims the institution will not be held liable for any damages the vehicles sustain while parked in the zone.
The authority notes if an issued slot remains vacant for a duration of 15 days since permit was authorized for parking, the slot will be awarded to other parties. Male’ City Council further clarified that vehicles that do not possess authorization or permit cannot be parked in the paid-parking zone.
