A Bodu EID Foari Worth Experiencing Awaits at Crossroads Maldives!

CROSSROADS Maldives is bringing "Bodu Eid Foari" with fun-filled festivities in honor of Eid al-Adha. Everyone in the island nation is searching for a quick getaway to celebrate the holy occasion with family and friends as the country gears up for its first Eid celebrations following the pandemic.
Three days of festivities will provide a glimpse into how Maldivians celebrate Eid. There are several cultural events to look out for, including the distinctive Bodumas Parade, which tells the folktale of two fishermen using magic or fanditha to catch a big fish, and Kodi Kendun's Dheli Maali Parade, which features dancers surrounded by ash-covered palm leaves.
Day one: Saturday, July 9th
At The Marina's bean / Co. or Kalhu Odi restaurant, start your day with a feast. Beach games and a Bodumas parade will kick off cultural activities, also known as "Eid Kulhivaru," and an Eid Show at The Beach Club will cap off the day.
Day Two: Sunday, July 10th
Spend the day on the beach enjoying water sports at the famous Hard Rock Cafe Beach. The Koadi Kendun with Dheli Maali Parade will be the main event of the day and will begin in the late afternoon. The evening will be capped off with an Eid show at The Beach Club.
Day Three: Monday, July 11th
The culmination of the Eid celebration is devoted to letting visitors and on-site guests of both resorts experience an Eid-style street market with a variety of food stalls and unexpected entertainment all evening long.
