A Dream of Fantastical Fish – A Look In To Joali Maldives’ Collaborative Art Project

When thinking of art in the Maldives, Joali Maldives screams harmony and unity in every thoughtfully curated element incorporated to the luxury offerings on the island. A blissful story begins the moment you step foot on the pristine shore, and you are enveloped by a rich sensory journey.

Combining their love for art with its efforts to involve the local community in its good will, Joali Maldives recently organized a collaborative art project titled ‘A Dream of Fantastical Fish’. Guests on the island participated in the sculpting experience.

Final art works are displayed at the resort and are for sale, aimed to gather donations to three selected organizations that operate in the Maldives. They are Olive Ridley Project, Women in Tech Maldives and Zero Waster Maldives. These NGOs are making breakthrough contributions in their respective fields, making the Maldives a better place, one day at a time.

Joali believes that art has the power to change the world - in thought as well as in deed.
