The Maldives is the flattest country on Earth and consists of 99% water. Flat meaning we don’t have hills or mountain ranges, just really long palm trees making up the island landscapes. And yes, there’s more Indian Ocean to explore here than there are subtle, soft, powdery-sand shorelines. There is only infinite horizon limiting your view, wherever you choose to stand and look around. So, in a place so unique already, what can be the best experience you can have? Watch a sunset.

We can only describe the golden hour in the cheesiest of word combinations but it won’t do justice to the beauty of this phenomenal hour. Every day, the natural canvas paints a different picture on the sky. In the Maldives, sunsets are so gorgeous that even the sun watches itself set, mirrored glistening on the undisturbed ocean surface.
