On the invitation of Visit Maldives, a renowned media crew from Turkey has been touring wellness oasises in the Maldives since August 16. The media crew, which consists of travel writers, journalists, and art directors, are being hosted at the blissfull resorts of Joali Maldives, Mirihi Island Resort, and Finolhu Maldives until August 22.
The media familiarization tour is part of Visit Maldives' Turkish market strategy to promote the Maldives through high-end channels, targeted advertising and promotion of individual goods and experiences, and environment and conservation initiatives. A campaign with Turkish Airlines from September to November 2022 is one of the forthcoming initiatives for the Turkey market.
The crew will be participating in unique activities such as snorkeling with marine biologists, relaxing spa and wellness facilities, watersports, and movie evenings under the tropical night sky throughout their stay. Sizzling it up, the crew will also go on gastronomic adventures, discovering haute gourmet foods that are unique to each resort.
Oksijen, Seturday, Baha Akinci, Sabah, Daily Sabah, Marie Claire, and InStyle.com.tr are among the media outlets represented on the trip. From high-end affluent sectors to budget tourists, these shops cater to all important segments of the Turkish population. Over ten million prospective passengers will be exposed to the publications.
