It won’t be completely wrong to say that there is never a time when Soneva is off the headlines in the mainstream hospitality sector media. Earlier this year, almost every news and magazine out there were filled with buttery smooth descriptions of the newly launched Chapter Two at Soneva Jani. And why wouldn’t it be, it was indeed an era-defining addition over water to the already exceptional resort.

Embodying the SLOW LIFE philosophy of founders Eva and Sonu Shuivdasani, the 24 luxe overwater villas in Chapter Two adapts a maximized sense of space, privacy, and seclusion, with elegant, laid-back interiors evoking the calming ocean setting, complete with large glass portholes straight into the clear waters below. The full concept of Chapter Two is anticipated to complete with the opening of the 1742 sqm Wellness Centre on Soneva Jani’s South Beach. Conjoint with the existing Soneva Spa, this expansion will set new standards in holistic wellness by combining ancient Ayurvedic techniques with cutting-edge therapies.

The new Wellness Center will include:

• Three open-air treatment spaces

• Open-air yoga pavilion including facilities for aerial yoga

• A retail space selling sustainable apparel and wellness products

Well ahead of its opening, the spa team has updated the spa menu and introduced fresh new treatments and product houses, alongside Soneva Jani’s existing partnership with Australian botanical spa brand, Sodashi. By booking the Soneva Unlimited offer, all guests choosing to stay in Chapter Two will receive unlimited spa treatments, fine dining, drinks, and experiences – all included in the price of the villa.
