Aasandha’s New Scheme during COVID-19

While the country fights to prevent coronavirus spread, it has been announced that visiting crowded places like hospitals are not advisable. However, there are patients that require medicine intake for a long period of time and they have to visit the doctor to get the medicine.

As a solution to this issue during the emergency period, Aasandha launches a scheme that allows patients to viber their existing medical prescriptions to STO and ADK pharmacies without the need of consulting a doctor. The state owned company is tasked with managing the national health insurance scheme Husnuvaa Aasandha.

In a press release today, Aasandha announced the phone numbers of the pharmacies, in Capital Male, Hulhumale and Villimale, that will be used by the patients to viber their prescriptions. There are 3 in Male: STO Henveiru Pharmacy, STO Hulhumale Pharmacy and ADK Pharmacy 6. ADK Pharmacy 10 is in Hulhumale and Tablet-2 in Villimale.
