After a Successful Offline Event, Visit Maldives Continues to Promote Destination in Russia

The Russian market has been one of the strongest source markets to Maldives since the borders reopened in July 2020. According to statistics, over 40k tourists have arrived from the market till date and it has massive potential for further growth. Tapping in to this opportunity, Visit Maldives continues to promote the destination in Russia, following the recent successful conclusion of MITT Moscow 2021.

From march 19th onwards, Visit Maldives is conducting a series of roadshows in major Russian cities until March 26th. These include roadshows in Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg & Saint Petersburg. The aim of the roadshows is to increase the destination presence among the Russian audience and engage with the travel trade market.
