Amilla Fushi is working on a special project to extend their Mystic Garden while the resort is temporarily closed down due to the global pandemic.
On 22nd March, Amilla Fushi announced the temporary suspension of their operations until July 1st. ‘The temporary suspension will allow the Islanders to work on even bigger and better innovations over the next few months.’
Amilla Maldives is extending its Mystic Garden so that they can grow as many vegetables as possible in the organic garden. And to do that, the Islanders will be using all the waste products on the island, all natural resources. An old rain shelter from one of the buildings that’s been replaced, is going to be used as a base, since there are so many coconut trees and the roots will grow up. Over the base is saw dust and soil.
Other than essential maintenance works on the chic, minimalist Villas and Residences to polish Amilla’s renowned sparkle, they’ll be further developing the enticing F&B offerings under the leadership of Chef Mickaël Farina creating a fresh new look with landscaping to enhance the naturally lush island.
