Amilla Fushi Reopening Plan- Facilities & Services

Amilla Fushi has revealed that the luxury resort will be reopening in a phased approach to ensure the protection of safety of the guests and team members. The resort published a fact sheet that highlights the proposed re-opening plan and outlines which areas and services will be operating during each of the three phases.

The resort will first welcome guests on 1st July as Phase 1. During this period, 16 accommodation will be available, which are Beach Pool Villas, Sunset Water Pool Villas and Residences. Phase 1 is for long stay guests with a booking of 7 nights or more. While facilities and services are limited, selected activities can be made available subject to available staff and government recommendations. Amilla informs that during Phase 1, the resort is not fully operational and there will be small projects underway in areas that will have minimal impact.

As the second phase commences on 1st October, an additional 16 accommodation are made available and this includes Reef Water Pool Villas. Facilities and services available increase such as the Penguin Underwater Observation and Kingfisher Catamaran Sailing, which were not available on Phase 1. Social activities, DJ and events are opened, but limited.

On 1st December, guests can choose to stay in one of 67 accommodation: Tree Top Pool Villas, Beach Pool Villas 1 and 2 Bedroom, Reef Water Pool Villas, Lagoon Water Pool Villas, Sunset Water Pool Villas, Residences 4 Bedroom, Residence 8 Bedroom and Residence 6 Bedroom. All restaurants and facilities are opened during this phase, but destination dining is available during all three phases. Amilla adds that Phase 2 and 3 may change dates depending on government regulations and airline capacity coming into the Maldives.
