Amilla Maldives Resort and Residences has decided it's time to upgrade their enormous accommodations as demand for family vacations and group vacations to the Maldives rises. The Maldives was once primarily known as a high-end honeymoon destination, but today's tourists come from a much wider range of demographics, including large and multi-generational families, groups of friends, and the traditional honeymooner market.
Always at the forefront of innovation, Amilla Maldives has made adjustments over time to meet the needs of its guests. Amilla's expansive, naturally lush island is home to eight beach-front ‘Residences’ that are substantial villas with four, six, and eight bedrooms (alongside its portfolio of 59 Water Villas, Treetop Villas and Beach Villas). These huge oases have recently undergone a makeover to ensure that they are immaculate for all guests.
New plates, cutlery, and kitchenware are among the improvements, which also include top-of-the-line SMEG kitchen appliances. Elegant white patio chairs finish the appearance.
The rooms have been revitalized with new feature tiles installed in the floors of the large living rooms, as well as new tiles in the bathrooms and outdoors. A fresh coat of paint finished the interior makeover. The expansive outdoor living spaces have been made even more enjoyable by lush, abundant gardens and enlarged views of the ocean, which seamlessly connect the indoors and outdoors. From these opulent areas, guests can take in magnificent sunset views and have easy access to the turquoise lagoon via their personal beach.
Additionally, there are new eight-seater stretch buggies for the Great Beach Residence and the opulent Amilla Estate, as well as new sand-resistant belt-driven premium bikes for adults and kids. This six-bedroom residence includes a private gym and spa, jacuzzi, rooftop bar, and a separate area with an additional two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a dining room for a nanny or other staff members that guests are traveling with.
With their own private kitchen, outdoor barbecue, and al fresco dining area, Amilla's Residences are distinctive in that they allow guests to self-cater or use the resort's Private Chef. Guests can take part in unusual sustainability activities like collecting eggs from Cluckingham Palace and foraging in the resort's sizable herb and vegetable gardens.
