Being able to mix up a variety of ingredients and plate a dish so effortlessly is truly an art I appreciate with all my heart. As the leading supplier of food, bakery, cooking ingredients, Best Buy Maldives also recognizes the skilled chefs mastering the art and goes the extra mile in providing quality products from world-renown brands for use in everyday cooking.
In January, the supplier announced BBM Chef’s Challenge 2021 and as an open call for chefs around the nation to showcase their talents and stand a chance to grab grand prizes as winners. Their requirements were to whip up a scrumptious dish of choice using products from any of the handpicked brands supplied by BBM and share pictures with recipes of their creations with the world.
Contributions from all over poured in and just yesterday, the winners have finally been announced! Winners were selected based on the most likes received on their posts shared on social media.

Minnie won third place by scoring a total of 918 likes across social media platforms and won USD 500 grand prize.
The Maldivian Pâtissier and a local favorite with sweet treats, Aminath Hameed came in second place of the competition with a total of 2084 likes and won USD 750.
