On 28 November 2024, Angsana Velavaru hosted a meaningful Long Service Award ceremony to honor the dedication of its associates. The event recognized team members for their five, ten, and fifteen years of service, celebrating their important role in maintaining the resort's high standards and embodying the values of the Banyan Group. Eddy See, President and CEO, and Phillip Lim, Head of Regional Operations, joined General Manager Ahmed Zahir in presenting the awards. The ceremony marked a significant moment in the resort’s journey, highlighting the essential contributions of its team.
As part of its ongoing commitment to its associates, Angsana Velavaru also unveiled the newly renovated Midhili Restaurant, designed exclusively for staff. The renovation was a collaborative effort, with associates working closely with leadership to create a welcoming and comfortable space. The new design offers cozy seating and a warm atmosphere for relaxation and community.
Midhili Restaurant is the first of its kind to open as part of the Banyan Group's global initiative to improve associate spaces. This initiative aims to enhance well-being and foster community among staff across the group’s hotels and resorts.
