Atmosphere Kanifushi’s New General Manager

The stunning Atmosphere Kanifushi Maldives in Lhaviyani Atoll in the Maldives has appointed a new general manager, Philippe Claverotte. This is one of the latest news about the resort along with 40 brand new overwater villas.

Claverotte’s career spans almost 30 years and includes luxury hotel groups and resorts across 12 countries. This is his fifth leadership role in a luxury property. Prior to joining the Atmosphere Group in the Maldives, Philippe was previously the general manager of Shangri-La Maldives, Sofitel Bora Bora and Chateau Royal Resort and Spa New Caledonia.

Claverotte said, “As the first property launched by Atmosphere hotels and resorts, I am delighted to join Atmosphere Kanifushi at such an integral time in the resort’s development.” Atmosphere Hotels and Resorts recently announced that several new properties will be added to their existing five-property portfolio.

Apart from high experience in the field, Claverotte speaks three languages (French, English and Spanish), and is particularly focused on creation and implementation of sales and marketing objectives and strategies, team leadership and ensuring a personalized guest experience and customer service management.
