Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts has offered Varu by Atmosphere, one of its luxury resorts in the Maldives, as an isolation and quarantine facility to the Maldives government. The Indian Ocean hospitality brand’s collaboration with the government is an attempt to aid the country amidst the coronavirus pandemic.
The resort will be used as a location to station government teams and increase nationwide efforts against Covid-19 from Monday. VARU by Atmosphere is the most recently opened, fifth resort of Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, after Ozen Maadhoo, Atmosphere Kanifushi, Oblu Select at Sangeli and Oblu Helengeli.
“The company wishes to continue to practice their philosophy of ‘The Joy of Giving’ by giving back to the Maldivian community and play their part in helping to overcome this difficult time,” states the resort. All guests travelling to VARU by Atmosphere from now and until further notice will be relocated to one of the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts sister properties.
