The British singer-songwriter and recipient of both BRIT and double MOBO awards, Ella Eyre performed for guests at Amilla Maldives this February 14th, 2023. She made a guest appearance at the Valentine’s Day special guest cocktails hosted at Baa-Bar and thrilled valentines with a mini-concert. Her solo mini-concert in the heart of the pristine Baa atoll was enjoyed by guests with no additional charges applied.
The award-winning singer had her breakthrough in 2013 with her collaboration with Rudimental. Their ‘Waiting All Night’ hit double platinum no.1 single and since then Ella has debuted her studio album, Feline in 2015, accumulated a series of Top 20 solo singles and won Best Single at the BRIT Awards. She was also the proud recipient of the Best Newcomer and Best Female Artist accolades at the MOBO awards.
Moreover, her stellar career in the music and entertainment industry has also paved way for collaborations with high-profile brands such as Sure, Bose and ASOS among others. She even replaced Beyoncé as the face of Emporio Armani Diamonds. Her music collaborations are not lacking in any sense with features done with Sigala (‘Came Here for Love’) and Sigala and Meghan Trainor single ‘Just Got Paid’.
Speaking on her return to the luxury resort, Ella commented “So excited to return to Amilla and perform on such a beautiful island again, I already know it’s going to be so much fun!”. Ella took to the stage at Amilla previously too on New Year's Eve during the end of 2019. Back then she was accompanied by BBC Radio 1 DJ, Nick Grimshaw and model-turned-singer, Pixie Geldoff. Amilla Maldives is well-renowned for accommodating star-studded lineups and entertainment programs for guests during seasonal celebrations.
