Barcelo Nasandhura Malé, the latest luxury hotel in the Maldives, is set to open in the first quarter of 2025. Located on the site of the former Nasandhura Palace Hotel, the new property will become the largest hotel in the capital, Malé. With 136 elegantly designed rooms, including 95 offering stunning ocean views, along with 116 luxurious serviced apartments, the hotel promises a blend of sophistication, comfort, and convenience.
Operated by the renowned Spanish hotel chain Barcelo Group, Barcelo Nasandhura Malé marks an important expansion of the brand in the Maldives. The group, which recently opened Barcelo Whale Lagoon Maldives in August 2024, also manages high-profile properties across the UAE, Thailand, and Europe.
The hotel will offer premium facilities, including four dining outlets, a rooftop shisha bar, an oceanfront pool, a state-of-the-art gym, and a luxurious spa. Additionally, the 1,034 square meters of MICE space will make it an ideal venue for corporate events.
Originally slated to open in December 2024, the opening has been delayed slightly due to minor construction work. However, Barcelo Nasandhura Malé remains on track to welcome guests in Q1 2025, offering a new level of luxury in Malé.
