BML Increases Cash Deposit limit

Bank of Maldives introduces a temporary increase in the daily ATM Cash Deposit limit so that personal and business customers can reduce ATM visits. Although BML branches and service centers remain closed during lockdown, but are continuing to identify measures to navigate the situation better .For personal customers, the limit is from MVR 50,000 to MVR100,000 and business customers from MVR 200,000 to MVR 500,000.

‘Safeguarding the health and safety of our customers and employees remain our priority.’ All BML branches and service centres remain closed and they encourage customers to bank from home for everyday banking during the lockdown period enforced by the government. You can use ATMs for cash withdrawal and deposits. However, BML encourages to bank from home for everyday banking during the lockdown period using Internet Banking, Mobile Banking or MobilePay.

BML also informs that their Contact Centre is experiencing a high number of calls at the moment and it may take longer than usual to answer your calls.
