In celebration of World Tourism Day, the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC) has launched the Maldives Moments 2024 global competition. Announced on September 27, the contest runs until October 12 and aims to highlight the artistic talents of participants while showcasing the Maldives’ breathtaking beauty and vibrant culture.
Participants are encouraged to share their most stunning photos or videos of the Maldives on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, or LinkedIn, using the hashtag #Maldivesmoments2024. The competition is open to anyone aged 18 and older, including both international visitors and Maldivian locals. Each participant can submit up to three original entries, though AI-generated content will not be accepted.
Judging will focus on aesthetic and technical quality, theme representation, and other unique aspects of the Maldives. The winner will receive a complimentary four-night stay at Radisson Blu Resort Maldives, and their submission will be featured on Visit Maldives’ social media channels.
Through initiatives like the Maldives Moments 2024 competition, MMPRC continues to promote the Maldives as a premier travel destination. The organization invites all photography and videography enthusiasts to share their love for the islands and participate in this exciting opportunity.
