
The Maldives Marketing & Public Relations Corporation celebrates 10th anniversary of the corporation with a surprise visit from President Ibu Solih.
Since it was established by former President of Maldives Mohamed Nasheed in 2010, the government body has carried out several successful advertising campaigns and events, promoting the Maldives as a tourism destination.

MMPRC visions to be the best tropical destination in the world and the top tourism earner in South Asia. Their biggest work this year includes participation in FITUR, largest International Tourism Fair held in Spain and FESPO, largest in Switzerland.
During the visit, the president noted the achievements of MMPRC in achieving the target tourist arrivals of 1.5 million ahead of time last year and the challenges posed for the industry by the current outbreak of the coronavirus.
