Mausooma Abdulla brings an impressive three decades of experience and a diverse skill set to her role. Known for her commitment to operational excellence and service standards, she is hands-on and value-driven with contemporary developments in service models and human capital. Her professional journey has spanned various sectors, including travel, tourism, hospitality, and aviation. Having been an integral part of the Sunland Group for almost 22 years, Mausooma served as the Executive Vice President at Sunland Journeys. At Coco Collection, she will lead human resources and talent development functions, while establishing and developing compliance policies and corporate strategies.
Shirley Orido Ali joins Coco Collection with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, both in Dubai and the Maldives. She has managed top-tier brands such as Anantara Doha Banana Island, Joali Being Resort, Movenpick Resort Kuredhivaru, Velaa Private Island, and Anantara Kihavah Villas. Shirley’s impressive track record and expertise in the luxury hospitality sector make her the ideal candidate to lead Coco Bodu Hithi through its brand and property evolution. Her leadership aims to enhance guest experience and ensure the perpetuity of the resort’s unparalleled luxury and elevated experiences.
Sharon Binti Bius, with over 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, brings a wealth of knowledge in front office, wellness, and spa operations. She has received several accolades, including the Five Star Awards Leaders in 2023 for Marriott International, ASEAN Spa Service Awards for three consecutive years, and the Top 10 Malaysia’s Best Resort Spa Awards in 2023. Sharon will ensure the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction at Coco Collection, embodying the core values of hospitality excellence.
