Coco Collection is excited to announce the return of acclaimed sushi master Chef Pepi Anevski for its chef residency program. He will be at Coco Bodu Hithi from October 27-28 and at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu from October 30 to November 1.
Chef Pepi first gained recognition after winning the inaugural World Sushi Cup in Tokyo in 2013 and was later named the “World’s Most Creative Sushi Master.” He is certified by the World Sushi Skill Institute and the All Japan Sushi Association, known for his innovative sushi that blends bold flavors with elegant presentation.
At Coco Bodu Hithi, guests can enjoy Chef Pepi’s renowned 8-course menu, featuring his artistic culinary style. He will be taking over the Tsuki restaurant, where his exceptional knife skills and precision will shine through in each dish.
In addition to his main residency, Chef Pepi will host an exclusive Private Omakase lunch on the secluded island of Embudhoo. This residency also marks his debut at Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu, where he will work alongside the resort’s culinary team, sharing his expertise in traditional sushi-making. Utilizing fresh local seafood and organic ingredients, Chef Pepi will create a menu that merges tropical Maldivian flavors with Japanese and East Asian influences.
Coco Collection continues to offer unique experiences for its guests, as both Coco Bodu Hithi and Coco Palm Dhuni Kolhu were recently recognized among the ‘Top 20 Resorts in the Indian Ocean’ by the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2024.
