Coralie Houplain, being an international hospitality expert with more than 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, as well as in sales and marketing, said that she is deeply honoured to be appointed as the Commercial Director for a refined and prestigious resort such as Waldorf Astoria Maldives and hopes to contribute to the greater success of it.
Coralie Houplain began her career journey by establishing a solemn record in hotel sales for various global hotel management groups, such as Starwood and Hyatt Hotels, in Paris, France. Coralie then relocated to Thailand as Director of Sales and Marketing to open Park Hyatt Bangkok. The most recent work area of her was at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, in Vietnam, where she has positioned the resort as the epitome of luxury in the region.
Etienne Dalancon, General Manager of Waldorf Astoria Ithaafushi, said that he is thrilled to welcome Coralie as the newest member of the Executive Team and that he strongly believes with her wide areas of expertise and capability to build strong teams, along with her passion for luxury hospitality, she will surely bring a successful business performance.
