
Health Protection Agency’s COVID-19 Case Updates as of 09:00pm, confirmed an additional 7 cases of COVID-19 infection in Maldives. Cases were of 3 Bangladeshis, 2 Maldivians and 2 Indians. This totaled the number of confirmed cases to 904. Earlier today, 14 Bangladeshis, 14 Maldivians and 7 Indians were tested positive.

Total number of cases: 904
With 29 recoveries, the number of active cases in the country is 870. The Maldives has reported 3 deaths in 66 days since the first confirmed case. There are 1,445 people in quarantine and 842 in isolation. While 86% of the cases are male, they were mostly aged between 31 and 40. This is according to the updates by Ministry of Health on 12 May 2020 - 22:20.
