Ministry of Health received 15 sampling kiosks by Dhiraagu on 3rd May, supporting pandemic response efforts by the ministry. These kiosks will help reduce contact between front-line workers and suspected cases and also reduces the usage of PPE equipment, currently in high demand across the globe.
The telecom company has taken several initiatives to help the community during the pandemic. ‘Our hope is that this will increase safe testing for COVID-19 within the community and contribute to the protection of frontline health care professionals who are putting their lives on the line to save ours.’
Dhiraagu also informs that the first prototype and product in Maldives was locally designed and developed by Print Lab Creative, a large format digital printing facility owned by Tropical Investments Pvt. Ltd, together with MNDF Sanahiya to fit all medical requirements of Ministry of Health and National Emergency Operations Centre.
