“Dine With The Stars” Returns To The Diamond Resorts This Time With JRE Chef Enrico Gerli

“Dine With The Stars” returns back to the PlanHotel Diamond properties in Maldives, for the second part of the 7th edition on August 2022. This marveling gastronomic experience is hosted by PlanHotel Properties in collaboration with Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe(JRE) and “Martino Crespi” events. This time, JRE Chef Enrico Gerli will host the event at the Diamond resorts, (Diamond Athuruga and Diamond Thudufushi) to thrill the staff and guests alike with culinary talents.

“Dine with The Stars” is a privileged and highly sought after culinary food event delivered with the purpose of adding an unforgettable and creative experience to your holiday. During these events, JRE Chefs from all around Europe will entertain guests with their culinary passion and knowledge and prove their masterful skills by curating well-loved dishes.

From August 8th to 21st, JRE Chef Enrico Gerli will be joining the team at Diamond Athuruga and Diamond Thudufushi and will engage guests in his gastronomic enthusiasm by preparing signature dishes and conducting masterclass workshops. He would also be working in close relation with the chefs at the resorts to create menus and serve appetizing dishes to the guests that will satisfy even the most determined critics.

While graduating from the conservatory, Chef Enrico discovered that his passion lies in the culinary world and rich wines and therefore directed his inquisitiveness to this profession. Over the years, he built his career and is now the proud owner of a Michelin starred restaurant “I Castagni” in Vivegano, Italy. Chef Enrico is a skilled expert in creating refined traditional foods and is widely renowned for his excellent hand at desserts. Furthermore, he had created fish-only menus and shows an avid interest in wines evident from his many great wines in the cellar.

Diamond Athuruga and Diamond Thudifushi are both PlanHotel owned resorts in the Maldives. Both resorts can be easily accessed by a 20-minute flight from Velana International Airport and features beach bungalows, water-villas and a calm and relaxing spa.
