The Maldives was one of the first destinations to open its gates to global travellers, inviting everyone back to the Sunny Side of Life after a long break from travelling- a much-needed vacay for everyone. The blessed unique geography makes it a naturally isolated paradise and this made many people feel safe to escape here. Can’t believe this?
The Crown & Champa Resort collections, which reopened in October and September, have shared the experiences of the first visitors to the resorts. Romantic escapes, family getaways, a trip to rediscover yourself- CCR collection of resorts have welcomed them all and made sure that all visitors to these properties had a wonderful time.
While couple Julian and Sonja had their dream wedding at Meeru Island, surrounded by shades of blues and the Bodu Beru beats accompanied by the soothing sound of waves, the Kamissarovs had a 13 days’ family vacation there with their little daughter in September and had a fantastic stay despite the new normal.
“In short, I can honestly say that Komandoo felt like a safe haven from the pandemic,” said SuperMoose_NL from the Netherlands, who visited the luxury resort for the 7th time! The safety measures implemented by the resort had made him feel “safer than home in Europe and would not hesitate to return.”
Hurawalhi Island Maldives, which features the biggest underwater restaurant in the world, gained a new fan from UK. “A truly relaxing, 5-star holiday never to be forgotten. Snorkelling and diving top class. 5.8 underwater restaurant not to be missed. Covid precautions in a place far superior to any western countries.”
