RAAYA by Atmosphere marked the arrival of Eid al-Fitr on Sunday, March 30th, with a special celebration for a group of visiting journalists from the United Kingdom. The exclusive dinner took place at Seb’s Farm, a unique dining experience that emphasizes sustainability, organic produce, and local flavors. The event was hosted by Mr. Maurice Van Den Bosch, General Manager of the resort, Mr. Euan Blake, Vice President of Communications at Atmosphere Core, and Ms. Seema Misra, Assistant Director of Communications.
Seb’s Farm, launched earlier this year, offers a farm-to-table dining experience where each dish is prepared using ingredients sourced directly from the resort’s organic farm and local fishermen. On Eid day, the journalists gathered in the morning for a tour of the farm, picking fresh herbs and vegetables to be used in the evening feast.
The evening's celebration took place in a charming gazebo in the heart of the farm. A rustic wooden table was set up with fresh blooms, and the scent of fragrant appetizers filled the air. The journalists also donned traditional Maldivian black-and-white striped sarongs, adding to the cultural immersion. The setting created a truly memorable atmosphere for the Eid dinner.
The media group included Alice Emily Barnes-Brown from Travel Weekly, Natasha Tomalin-Hall from Mail Online, Lynne Mole from loveEXPLORING.com, Natasha Heard from Luxury Lifestyle Magazine, and Tilly Everard from Rooster PR. During their visit, the journalists had the opportunity to experience the hospitality of both RAAYA by Atmosphere and OBLU NATURE Helengeli by SENTIDO.
