Emirates has inked a codeshare agreement with Azul Linhas Aereas Brasileiras S.A (Azul), allowing clients to connect to and from eight Brazilian locations to Emirates' worldwide network via Sao Paulo effective on August 18, 2021. The codeshare agreement has been approved by the Brazilian Federal Aviation Agency (Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil).
Emirates presently flies five weekly flights to Sao Paulo using the widebody Boeing 777-300ER. Emirates' base in Dubai is now available to Brazilian tourists with visas on arrival for business, pleasure, and tourism, and visitors will be spoiled for choice in the family-friendly city with year-round sunshine, famous monuments, and a culinary scene to satisfy every palate
Customers will be able to connect from Rio de Janeiro, Santos Dumont (SDU), Belem (BEL), Belo Horizonte (CNF), Cuiaba (CGB), Curtiba (CWB), Juazeiro Do Norte (JDO), Porto Alegre (POA), and Recife (REC) airports onboard Emirates flights from Sao Paulo (GRU) to Dubai and beyond with a single ticket under the codeshare.
