Coming this August to the airline is new menus, curated from fresh inspirations by the award winning catering team and chefs at Emirates. Utilizing a wide assortment of rich supplies, the team has worked to create and deliver meals that will enlighten your dining experience in the sky. First class passengers travelling in select routes can now enjoy delectable dishes of pan-fried salmon trout with moqueca sauce and creole rice. They can even savour their palates with a dish of roasted duck breast with orange thyme jus served with steamed broccolini and fondant potatoes. Passengers travelling aboard Business and Economy class will be delighted with these mouth-watery new menus starting from 1st September onwards.
To cater for the growing number of passengers that prefer vegan meals, Emirates has also introduced new vegan dishes to suit their passengers’ needs. Sumptuous, healthy plant-based meals of pan-roasted king oyster mushrooms and appetizing jackfruit biryani complemented by sliced kohlrabi will appeal to the most discerning vegetarians as well.
Make your time aboard the flight even sweeter by indulging in these vegan desserts of chocolate truffle cake with hazelnut, pistachio and gold leaf, vanilla custard and berry compote completed with a glistening of yuzu pearls.
Another perk for First Class passengers of Emirates include up scaled “dine on demand” service with unlimited drinks of Persian caviar available throughout the flight. The Caviar will be paired with the world-class vintage champagne, Dom Perignon offering the most opulent sip of golden champagne aboard the flight.
A cinema in the sky experience is a moment to remember and first class passenger of Emirates can now kill the hours away by taking up on this offer. With 5000 channels available on Emirates’ ice inflight entertainment system, catch well-loved movies while munching on some cinema snacks. Ranging from classics such as lobster rolls, juicy sliders, edamame and salted popcorn the snack list goes endless! Moreover, Emirates now offers passengers the chance to pre-select their movies and TV shows before the flight and syncing it once onboard, ensuring they don’t miss any of the action from their favourite entertainments!
Passengers flying from Dubai can have a look at the sustainable initiatives of Emirates with fresh greens harvest from Bustancia available on board. Bustancia is the world’s largest vertical farm and Emirates Flight Catering have signed an USD 40 million joint venture investment with the farm. Through this, fresh produce from sustainable operations and supply chains can be used to make meals.
In addition to these inflight improvements, Emirates is also renovating interiors of aircrafts with new reupholstered seats, panelling, flooring and cabin features installed. Every cabin class will be refurbished under this investment and new Premium Economy cabins will be established-the only airline to do so in the region. The airline is also investing in human capital with exclusive trainings provided for Cabin Crews. Partnering with Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the trainings will focus on instilling the 4 service pillars: Excellence, Attentiveness, Innovation and Passion.
