Emirates Updates Booking Policies and Puts Customer-First Yet Again

Friday 9th of April 2021

Taking a look over the latest updates from Emirates on its already generous booking policies, the airline extends more flexibility and reaffirms customers even more confidence to make their travel plans on board Emirates Airlines.

According to the update, customers holding tickets issued before 30 September 2020 for travel before 31 December 2021, can now rebook to travel anytime within 36 months, an extension of 12 months from the previous policy. Those holding tickets issued after 01 October 2020 for travel before 31 December 2021, can utilize their tickets anytime within 24 months.

Tickets issued directly by Emirates will be automatically extended whilst if the bookings were made through an agent, customers are required to contact their agents before the expiry date to reissue their tickets. Any added fees for reissuing tickets will be waivered and customers can also refund vouchers and/or unused portions of Emirates tickets may be refunded without any penalty.

Emirates has further extended their global multi-risk travek insurance cover for all passengers traveling onboard the airline beyond 31 March 2021 until further notice. Passengers can now be at peace regarding any concerns with air travel when flying the award-winning leading airline of the world.

Just last week, the airline rolled out Emirates Skywards double Tier Miles offer for all members offering them a chance to move up tiers when they fly Emirates and flydubai flights booked from 01 April until 30 June, for travel until 30 December 2021.

Loyal members of the frequent flyer program will remain Silver, Gold and Platinum Tier members until 2022. This extension provides Skywards members with more opportunities to utilize them for an extensive range of flight and partner rewards as well as other privileges.
