End Starvation- Donate Food through Mamak

Mamak restaurant is giving you the opportunity to donate food to other in need. On 19th April, the Malay-Indian cuisine restaurant in Hulhumale, tweeted regarding their initiative to provide food to those in need, requesting information on any family who are not able to get food living in Hulhumale, as they are only able to deliver in the island currently.

Recently, Mamak announced that some of those for whom they were providing food, have found other means and no longer require their service. Hence, the restaurant further requests the public for information regarding those in need and asked to contact them if you would like to donate to others.

The meal Mamak is providing for donations is the super value Iftar set meal in their menu, which includes dates, juice packets, roti or rice, curry and water. By donating to someone else, you can get a 10% discount. The restaurant has also set a minimum 2 meals per order due to delivery limitations.

Many associations in the Maldives have stepped forward to support the community during this challenging time. Their aim is to make sure nobody ends their day starving and here’s your opportunity to contribute to it.
