Following a spike in demand for international travel, Etihad Airways and Abu Dhabi International Airport have prepared resources and are prepared to welcome 2.7 million network passengers over the summer.
With more than 1100 weekly network-wide departures, Abu Dhabi International Airport will see a departure of over 1.4 million passengers, including 330,000 local joiners.
“As travel rebounds from the impact of the global pandemic, Etihad has witnessed a vast increase in bookings over recent weeks. With summer holidays upon us and to manage the increase in passenger numbers, Etihad has bolstered operations both locally and across our global network to ensure guests enjoy a seamless airport and flight experience.” Sharing his enthusiasm over the course is Mr Mohammad Al Bulooki, Chief Operating Officer, Etihad Aviation Group.
The Verified to Fly service should be used to submit any Covid-related travel documents for prior approval, and guests are urged to check in online and arrive at the airport early.
Since their initial flight in 2003, Etihad Airways has advanced significantly. The airline is pleased to share its adventure with millions of people around the world as a leading aviation and travel company today.
