The flagship carrier of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Etihad Airways announced that it is stepping up operations on the Abu Dhabi- Jakarta route, by going double daily to the Indonesia capital. From the first of October 2023, business and affluent travellers can expect 14 weekly non-stop flights between destinations, catering to greater choice, flexibility and convenience for passengers.
The flights will be operated using Etihad’s modern fleet of Boeing B787 and B777 aircraft complete with comfortable seating, personalized inflight entertainment systems and award-winning onboard service.

The enhanced air links between countries will also help promote the growth of trade and tourism on both ends, aligning with Etihad’s commitment to supporting inbound tourism. Deemed the largest city in Southeast Asia, Jakarta is home to a population of 10 million people and is a gateway to Indonesia’s rich history, culture and nature.
