Experience Paradise: NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort Opens Soon

The NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort is scheduled to open in late 2025 following a significant renovation. Minor Hotels, in partnership with a private equity fund managed by Ares Management, will rebrand the current Reethi Beach Resort into this new luxury destination.

Nestled on a lush island in Hanifaru Bay within the Baa Atoll, the 129-key resort is just a 35-minute seaplane ride from Velana International Airport in Male. This stunning location is famous for its vibrant marine life, including manta rays, whale sharks, and turtles.

The existing Reethi Beach Resort will continue to welcome guests until April 25, 2025, after which it will close for six months to undergo the extensive renovations. This transformation marks the most significant update in the resort's 25-year history and will enhance the villas, dining options, and leisure facilities while maintaining the island's natural charm.

Once completed, the NH Collection Maldives Reethi Resort will feature both on-land and overwater villas designed for various traveler needs. With 10 unique dining outlets, including specialty restaurants and bars, guests will enjoy a diverse culinary experience. Activities will abound, from diving and snorkeling to spa treatments and sports, ensuring a memorable stay in this tropical paradise.
