From August 11 to 18, 2024, Constance Hotels & Resorts in the Maldives will host the Escapade Gourmande, or “Gourmet Getaway.” This exclusive gastronomic event will be held at Constance's two luxurious properties in the Ari Atoll: Halaveli and Moofushi. Guests will enjoy a series of multi-course dinners, each paired with exceptional wines.
The event will feature Domaine Albert Mann from Alsace as the partner winemaker. Known for their commitment to biodynamic farming, Domaine Albert Mann produces wines that beautifully express the terroir of their vineyards. Their fine wines will be carefully paired with each dish to elevate the overall culinary experience.
Joining the event are three renowned chefs: Sebastian Gibrand, Bocuse d’Argent 2019 winner from Sweden; Fabrizio Fiorani, 2019 Asia’s Best Pastry Chef from Italy; and French pastry chef and influencer Thomas Alphonsine. These chefs were also significant participants in the Constance Festival Culinaire held in March 2024 at Constance Belle Mare Plage, Mauritius.
Monday, August 12: Sandbank Wine Evening orchestrated by Chef Sebastian Gibrand, paired with Albert Mann wines.
Tuesday, August 13: Breakfast Pastry Corner by Thomas Alphonsine and Wine Tasting in the lagoon with Chef Sebastian Gibrand and Chef Fabrizio Fiorani, paired with Albert Mann wines.
Wednesday, August 14: Wine Dinner with Chef Sebastian Gibrand and Chef Fabrizio Fiorani, paired with Albert Mann wines.
Friday, August 16: Breakfast Pastry Corner by Thomas Alphonsine.
