Offering an inviting tropical getaway this holiday season, the Fairmont Maldives Sirru Fen Fushi will host three renowned and Michelin-starred chefs Alexandre Demard, Mickael Viljanen and Alfredo Russo - each creating an exclusive tasting menu for island guests this December and January!

One of France's most sought-after chefs, Alexandre Demard is best known for leading the menus of numerous Michelin-starred restaurants around the country. By taking diners on a transformative culinary journey, Alex creates an exploration of modern Thai cuisine through a French perspective.

For Alex, cuisine is an alliance of creativity, respect for product and passion for taste, a mantra that has earned him countless distinctions, including a Michelin platter! Catch Alex from December 23rd to 31st at Azure on Christmas and Kata on New Year’s.

Joining Fairmont on New Year's Eve, Mickael Viljanen is one of only four chefs in Ireland to receive two Michelin stars! Renowned for his superb artistry, technical precision and masterful taste, Mick is the head chef of the award-winning Chapter One restaurant in Dublin.

Working in the kitchen since the age of 14, Mick moved to Ireland in 2000 from Finland, where he grew up through France and England. Mick’s exquisite dishes offer stimulating flavor combinations and go well with traditional Finnish dishes, while at the heart of seasonal Irish produce. Bringing his culinary skills in January, Alfredo Russo is one of Italy's greatest chefs. Using modern techniques, Russo's cuisine is heavily influenced by classics, local ingredients and culinary trends, which have earned him numerous awards. After opening his first Dolce Stil Novo restaurant in 1990, he was recognized by Espresso Guide as the best young Italian chef in 2004 and has since earned a total of 27 Michelin stars!

His acclaimed cuisine and unique style have led to collaborations with renowned restaurants, including the Gran Hotel and Milan, where he led the hotel in a new culinary direction and published a number of cookbooks.
