When it comes to the world of hospitality, culinary arts tops the sectors as one of the most creative, enticing, and rewarding stakeholders of the industry. The moment you see your food arrive at the restaurant, you immediately notice the amount of effort that has been put into creating a story out of each dish.

Training and educating the culinary masters that join the Maldivian tourism and hospitality industry, the Faculty of Hospitality and Tourism Studies is the leading institute for tourism and hospitality studies in the Maldives. Proving their stand, FHTS has emerged as a top contender for the category of Indian Ocean's Best Culinary Training Institution 2021 at the World Culinary Awards™.

This annual awards program recognizes culinary excellence in the industry and is a sister event of World Travel Awards™. Going up against destinations such as Mauritius and Seychelles, FHTS is facing tough competition but is no less deserving of the award. Hundreds of graduates from FHTS are currently paving their way forward in the tourism industry of the World’s Leading Tourism Destination 2020 at the World Travel Awards – and our home – the Maldives!
