Wandering on waters in the Maldives is Imperial’s 136m luxury superyacht, the Flying Fox. The motor yacht has been exploring countless islands of the Maldives in the Indian Ocean, according to SuperYacht Times.
At 136m (446’19”), luxury superyacht for charter Flying Fox is called to become the new definition of tailor-made and unique charter journey. Her curvy and extraordinary exterior design complimented by her dove grey hull designed by award-winning Espen Øino, make her a spectacular and unique vessel. It is the largest motor yacht available for charter in the world through Imperial.
Built for lovers of the great outdoors, FLYING FOX provides exclusive outside key features. A special one to highlight is the 12-metre swimming pool, which runs transversely on the Main deck, a first for a superyacht of this size and a technological challenge unlocked. Everywhere on board, innovation in shape and comfort in all areas are the keywords of her layout: from her wide swim platform to the Roof deck, her modern and high level of outfitting is the theme throughout.
The island nation recently announced an ease in lockdown restrictions starting from 29th June 2020, which includes some good news for superyachts. “International airports will open in phases from 1st July 2020 for flights and tourist/ yacht arrivals. Per the current plan, the first phase will allow arrival to private jets and visiting tourists and yachts from June 1, 2020,” reports Mohamed Hameed, Asia Pacific Superyachts director in the Maldives.
Further, from April 2020, the fees to enter the Maldives have been substantially reduced, making this a viable stopover for all yachts crossing the Indian Ocean.
