One of the true legends of sport of MMA, Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, famously known as his stage name “Minotauro” is one of the best heavyweight lifters who transitioned from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) background to Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). In the late 1990’s, Minotauro is well known to have won against exemplary fighters such as UFC Hall Of Fame Randy Couture, Mark Coleman, Josh Barnet, Dan Handerson and so many more!

During Minotauro’s peak in his career, he had won WEF heavyweight super-fight champion, 2000 Rings Kings of Kings Tournament Champion, Pride Heavy Weight Champion, Pride Interim Heavy Weight Champion and UFC Heavy Weight Champion. He is widely encouraged and celebrated amongst the best fighters and heavyweight artists in MMA history.
