George Corbin Arrives in the Maldives!

One of the key pioneers of Maldives tourism Mr. George Corbin arrived in the Maldives to participate in the celebrations of 50 Years of Tourism in the island nation.

He was greeted at Velana Airport by fellow tourism pioneer Ahmed Naseem, Minister of Tourism for the Maldives Abdulla Mausoom, and a team that consisted of members from both the Ministry of Tourism and Maldives Airports Company Ltd (MACL).

The pioneer is scheduled to speak at the “Tourism Upbeat: The Pioneer’s Talk”, which is an interactive discussion session on 50 years’ journey of the Maldives Tourism Industry, for travel and tourism students of Maldives. He will be accompanying the likes of Mr. MU Manik, Mr. Hussain Afeef, and Mr. Ahmed Naseem in this session.

The session will be a hybrid session, where speakers get to talk about their experiences and students get to ask questions about said experiences. It is scheduled for the 17th of February 2022 at the Maldives National University Auditorium. Interested students from all schools, colleges, and universities are invited to join the session. Registration for this session will be made open during the upcoming week.
