Giving Free Flights to 100,000 Frontline Workers

As the world marks the International Nurses Day 2020 on May 12th, Qatar Airways announced that it will be giving away complimentary roundtrip airline tickets as an appreciation gift to 100,000 healthcare workers across the globe who have been putting themselves in danger while protecting their communities and saving lives in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Their heroic display of kindness, dedication, and professionalism has saved hundreds of thousands of lives around the world.”

Healthcare professionals, such as Doctors, Medical practitioners, Nurses, Lab Technicians, Clinical Researchers, and Pharmacists from every country in the world will be eligible to win a pair of tickets. However, in order to ensure the application process is fair and transparent, each country will receive a daily allocation of tickets based on overall population size.
