Manta Air has launched an apprenticeship program with the goal of training and developing local talent in order to offer them with a road to their ideal job. The curriculum requires "Wings" (apprentices) to spend a year in specific areas.

The apprenticeship program is aimed at Maldivian nationals between the age of 18 and 25, giving a kick-start to their future blooming career at aviation! Moreover, the applicants must have completed GCE O’level Examination on top of having an eager and strong will to learn.

The areas Manta Air will train apprentices are Ground Operations, Crew Scheduling / OCC Flight Operations, Scheduling & Reservations, Human Resources, Procurement & Commercial areas. Aimed to give on-the-job training, Manta Air will also have dedicated Mentors throughout the apprenticeship programs as well as in-class personal development programs.
