Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives Extends Popular 'Dive Free' Promotion

In August last year, Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives introduced a groundbreaking ‘Dive Free’ promotion, offering guests free scuba diving. Due to its overwhelming success, the resort is excited to announce the extension of this offer until October 31, 2025.
“When we launched ‘Dive Free,’ we knew it would set us apart from our competitors, and it did. It has been extremely well received by scuba divers from around the world visiting the Maldives,” said Mark Eletr, General Manager of Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives.
Located just a 15-minute boat ride away from some of the top dive sites in the Maldives, the resort’s prime location makes it possible for guests to enjoy multiple dives in a single day. The ‘Dive Free’ promotion is available to guests staying three or more nights, and it’s treated as an integral part of the Kandooma experience, similar to breakfast and access to the Kids’ Club.
Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives boasts a five-star PADI resort dive centre, complete with experienced instructors, purpose-built facilities, and a dedicated fleet of dive boats. In 2023, the resort was named the Best Dive Resort in the Maldives and has been nominated for the same award again in 2024.
Divers can explore a variety of nearby dive spots, each offering unique marine experiences:
Kandooma Thila: Known for its vibrant schools of fish, colorful coral formations, and diverse marine life, including white-tip reef sharks and eagle rays.
Guraidhoo Corner: Offers thrilling drift dives with grey reef sharks, white-tip sharks, and eagle rays amidst dramatic underwater structures.

The ‘Dive Free’ inclusions are available to full-paying guests staying a minimum of three nights and include two single-tank group dives for two certified divers per villa, per day. All dives are fully guided, with free dive equipment, boat transfers, and air/Nitrox provided. Guests must be fit to dive and fully certified, following PADI best practices.
