Just like the Tsunami in 2004 displayed unity of Maldivians, the 2019 fire showed a great example of volunteering as everyone joined together to provide as much aid as possible to the victims. The efforts of firefighters were remarkable.
Even recently, an Australia yacht in Maldives was caught in fire. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident. With proper training, education and an effective legal system, the beautiful country is attempting to bring an end to dangerous incidents.
