Huvafen Fushi Maldives Recruits Two New Members To The Team

The dreamy island escape of Huvafen Fushi has announced that two new fresh faces from the Maldives will be joining the team at the property. The two esteemed individuals are Mohamed Hamdhoon, stepping in as Resort Manager and Ibrahim Nathif taking on the role of Executive Sous Chef.

The duo brings to the resort a star-struck record of experience in the hospitality industry with both of them previously having worked with Universal Resorts. In their new positions, Hamdhoon and Nathif will use their expert knowledge and skillset to navigate the resort’s operations and take the luxury establishment to new limits.

Renowned for his meticulous care and outstanding work ethics, Mohamed Hamdhoon holds a certificate in a Harvard Development Management Program. With an impressive career spanning over 10 years, Hamdhoon has played an integral role in perfecting guest services in his work. In his previous posting at Kurumba Maldives, Hamdhoon was in-charge of leading the Front Office Operations and has also worked alongside numerous luxury resorts in the Maldives. This includes One & Only Reethi Rah and Intercontinental Maamunagau Maldives.

As he steps into his new role, Hamdhoon will be shouldering the responsibilities of overseeing the day-to-day operations with the GM while still delivering the exceptional hospitality and exclusive guest experiences promised by the iconic brand.

Throughout his 20-year long career, Chef Nathif has remained in the forefront of international cuisine, bringing with him a wealth of experience and culinary excellence to Huvafen Fushi. With a special interest in the French Cuisine, Chef Nathif is celebrated for his modern approaches and focus on seasonality-qualities that are crucial in filling his new position at Huvafen Fushi. At the resort, Chef Nathif will be leading the culinary programming and menu developments. He would also ensure kitchen operations and standards are met by sourcing top-quality produce to guests.
