Hygiene Measures at Crossroads Maldives- Safe, Healthy, Relax
The Crossroads Maldives, destination’s first extraordinary multi-island, fully integrated leisure destination, has disclosed their hygiene and cleaning measures enhanced to create a safe space for the guests and employees. The resorts at Crossroads- Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton- have adapted to the standards and guidelines by Hard Rock International brand as well as Hilton Hotels.
CROSSROADS Safe, Healthy, Relax manifest builds on the best practices and protocols developed over the last several months, allowing guests to rest easy, and focus on enjoying the unforgettable experiences offered – while protecting Team Members who are on the front lines of hospitality. All standards were developed in consultation with global and local public health authorities including the World Health Organization and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Reservation
Your safety is guaranteed starting from the reservations itself. Crossroads and both Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives will have a dedicated page on COVID-19 latest information regarding booking flexibility, Loyalty points, and travel safety standards.
Arrival
After a safe 15 minutes speedboat journey from the airport, guests would do a temperature screening and fill up the Health Screen Questionnaire. If the temperature of any guest is above 37.5˜C, the Check-in Agent will inform the guest on the procedure, and the resort doctor needs to be informed. The guest will then be brought to the clinic for further observation.
Housekeeping
While Hard Rock Hotel Maldives will follow Safe & Sound procedures by Hard Rock International, SAii Lagoon Maldives will follow Hilton Hotels CleanStay. Guest rooms will be serviced when guests are not in the room and rooms are deep cleaned after every checkout and kept vacant for 24 hours before the next guest is checked in.
Food safety
The daily inspection would be conducted by the kitchen teams by following the standards in place along with local regulations to ensure local and international guidelines are being followed. Safety measures have been implemented in restaurants and bars including 2 meters distance between every seating.
Other facilities where guests are ensured safety include the gym, spa, kids’ club, The Marina at Crossroads and the Event Hall at Crossroads. Safety measures are also in place for Maldivian employees such as frequent cleaning of team member’s facilities.
