Conrad Maldives Rangali welcomed their newest General Manager, Carla Puverel very recently to continue the legacy of the twin-island resort’s innovation, excellence and turning possible whatever that the world would define as impossible.
From an exclusive interview by Destinations of The World News with Carla Puverel, many interesting and inspiring details were revealed, marking the resort’s exquisite indulgence and also the inspiring journey of the General Manager.
Working with diverse cultures and a passionate team whilst learning to grow and live within the culture of other countries is what gives Carla Puverel, the motivation and passion to work as a General Manager at the resort.
She says that she finds the growth and development of the team remarkable and her role is dynamic and challenging, which leads to the need for constant evolvement to exceed milestones.
She also highlights that even though the global pandemic, COVID-19, had a huge impact and caused major turmoil in the travel industry, the team had always remained enlightened and took on these challenges with a steady heart, as they quickly figured a new way to operate to balance out these issues, without any compromise on the service and quality that the resort gives to its guests.
When asked of how the resort plans to move forward following the pandemic, Carla responded that the resort team is working on new innovations as to be in constant communication with guests, both pre- and post-stay with the resort’s new Maruhaba Application and IPTV.
The resort is also taking part in virtual familiarization trips with its partners and guests to show how much the resort values them. Carla highlights that the resort is particularly attractive for the Middle Eastern market due to its spacious and private villas that makes anyone feel at home.
As for what guests can look forward for at Conrad Maldives Rangali in the next few months, she highlights that they have recently completed a renovation of their Grand Water Villas and Beach suites on Rangali Finolhu Island – which is a family-centric island, perfect for outdoor options and long stays.
