In a remarkable fusion of artistry, nature, and gastronomy, THE OZEN COLLECTION is set to welcome world-famous pastry chef Janice Wong for a special residency at OZEN LIFE MAADHOO from 24th to 26th April 2025. This exclusive collaboration promises an immersive experience that celebrates refined desserts in one of the world’s most breathtaking destinations.

Chef Wong will introduce guests to her signature creations, including a stunning edible chocolate wall art—an intricate three-meter-tall installation made from sustainably sourced chocolate. This impressive piece, inspired by the Maldives’ vibrant marine life, features 100 hand-painted bonbons hidden within reef-like cavities, ready to delight all the senses. In addition to the installation, Wong will host live dessert stations at the resort’s overwater venues, where guests can savor delicacies like Yuzu Meringue Clouds and Salted Caramel Lava Spheres, paired with carefully selected dessert wines.

For an unforgettable culinary experience, a limited 40 guests will be invited to a four-hands gourmet dinner on 24th April at the underwater restaurant M6m. Chef Wong will join Executive Chef Alok to create a dessert degustation menu that highlights local Maldivian flavors with a modern twist.

Families can also participate in chocolate art workshops, where Chef Wong will guide younger guests in crafting their own edible chocolate masterpieces. This hands-on experience allows kids to unleash their creativity while learning about the art of dessert-making.
